KES-AMSTA-13 Registration
Instructions on how to register for the conference are given in the next section. A list of fees and charges is also provided further down the page.
Every paper to appear in the IOS proceedings must have at least one author who has registered for the conference with payment by 28 February 2013.
(Not applicable to the New Directions in Agents Research Workshop).
Registration
Registration for the conference is through the KES-AMSTA-13 registration page on the KES Membership Portal accesible through this linkYou must be signed in to the KES Portal to register for the conference.
If you are not already a KES member you will be asked to sign up (free of charge).

Please ensure that in addition to signing up for the KES Portal you also go on to register for the conference!
Payment by Credit Card
The registration system includes an online credit card processing system to take payment while you wait. We strongly recommend that delegates pay by credit card to guarantee they receive the early registration rate.We will send you confirmation by email when we have received and checked your payment, and your registration is complete.
Payment by Bank Transfer
Please read the following instructions if you intend to make payment by bank transfer.- You can only pay by bank transfer before the early registration deadline.
- If you are concerned about securing a student registration place we recommend that you pay by credit card.
- Payment by bank transfer can take some time and we must receive payment before we can give you a student place.
- If you wish to make a payment by bank transfer, register through the online system, an select the "Bill Me" payment option. The email you receive from the registration system will contain an Order Number and instructions about making payment to our bank.
- You must ensure that the ORDER NUMBER appears in the PAYMENT REFERENCE field of the bank transfer form. Please also ensure that the FROM field contains the DELEGATE NAME.
- Please ensure that you pay any charges you bank may charge. If we do not receive the full amount due before the early registration deadline the full late rate may become payable.
- We will send you confirmation by email when we have received your payment and your registration is complete.

Full Registration
Full registration includes attendance at the event, a paper in the conference proceedings, and in addition, a year's KES Silver membership that brings discounted rates at future KES events and member facilities on the KES Member Community Portal, for example your own profile page. This represents a great package!
Full registration is an inclusive rate comprising:-
- Attendance at the conference for all days of the conference
- Morning and afternoon tea and coffee each day
- Lunch each day
- One ticket for the conference banquet
- Publication of one paper in the conference proceedings (conforming to the published conditions concerning submission, length and deadlines)
- A CD copy of the conference proceedings.
- Silver Membership of KES International for one year from the date of the conference

Student Registration
To claim the student rate you need to send to a letter in English on headed notepaper from your University, signed by your Head of Department confirming that you are a student.
There are limited places for student registration. After this students must register at the Full rate.Student registration comprises:-
- Attendance at the conference for all days of the conference
- Morning and afternoon tea and coffee each day
- Lunch each day
- Publication of one paper in the conference proceedings (conforming to the published conditions concerning submission, length and deadlines)
- A CD copy of the conference proceedings.
- Silver Membership of KES International for one year from the date of the symposium

Full/Student Registration for Vietnamese University Delegates
We have obtained sponsorship to allow delegates from Vietnamese universities to attend the conference at a concessionary rate.
To claim this rate you need to send to a letter in English on headed notepaper from your University, signed by your Head of Department confirming that you are a member of faculty.
New Directions in Agents Research Workshop Registration
Those registering for the Work in Progress Research Workshop Registration may book for a special one-day rate to include:-
- Attendance on the day the Workshop only
- Teas and coffees, and lunch
- Presentation of the work as a poster or orally and
- Publication of the paper in the KES Open Access Library
Payment for the Workshop at the special rate must be by credit card as the deadlines do not permit time to process bank transfer payments.
Workshop delegates may also purchase a ticket for the conference dinner.
Workshop delegates may choose to register for the full conference if they wish. Please contact us for details.

How do you know if you are a KES member?
If you attended a KES event in the past year and presented a paper you are a KES Silver Member.

Accompanying Person Registration
An "Accompanying Person" is someone who accompanies a full delegate but takes no part in the conference. An example is the wife or husband of an author. The following conditions apply:-
- An accompanying person must register with a Full or Student delegate (ie they may not attend the symposium alone).
- The Accompanying Person registration provides morning and afternoon teas/coffees, and lunch each day.
- It does not allow entry to any conference sessions
or talks, or a published paper, or a set of proceedings.
It does not include a conference banquet ticket. - Under no circumstances may authors or co-authors of conference papers register as accompanying persons.
Extra Charges
There will be additional charges for the following items:-
- Papers longer than 10 pages: 60 Euro per page
- Ticket for the conference banquet (included in Full Registration): 65 Euro
- Publication of more than one paper in the proceedings: 175 Euros for each additional paper
- A copy of the printed proceedings (subject to availability): 150 Euros
